    Description

This is "Fitz", my 2015 RAM Promaster 2500 159” High Roof. I named it Fitz, because my whole life fits in it.

Priced to sell fast. It is available to see and test drive in Huntington Beach, CA and available immediately.

Fully converted and ready to hit the road for other adventures. I built and lived in this van in the summers of 2021 and 2022 and I absolutely loved it.

    #### READ THIS####

At this time, I have moved back to France. The van is in LA at a friend's house and while you'll get in contact with me with any questions you have (bear in mind the time difference), I'll connect you with a very good friend in LA (he also builds vans) that will manage the showings and sale for me since I can't be here in person. This also means that we can't be driving anywhere to show you the van, my friend is nice enough to help me with this I don't want to inconvenience him. Nothing fishy here, at least you're aware of this before you reach out.

    ######

I’m sad to sell it because I absolutely loved living in it and I think it is the perfect size/format/build to feel like you’re living in a vehicle, not camping in a vehicle while having all the comfort of a tiny house and all your toys available at all times, regardless of the season or location.

It is surprisingly an extremely capable rig off road for a 2wd. It has quite a bit of clearance and will crawl up steep rocky hills just fine (I've taken in to the Bridger Jacks and Gooseberry Mesa, for those who know this terrain!).

This is also a super stealth rig, easy to park anywhere and people around will have no idea someone is in there (sorry not sorry Yosemite rangers!)

Do not hesitate to reach out for additional questions, details or photos. The interior is much spacier than the pictures show! I reply to text and emails quickly. If I don’t pickup please leave a voicemail and I’ll call you back. I can do Facetime tours if not local.

    Details on the vehicle:

    • 2015, third owner, clean title
    • 151,000 odometer total miles
    • V6 3.6L 280hp (this engine is a beast and climbs fully loaded, it feels like nothing). I’ve been getting 17-19mpg depending on use
    • Only 22,000 miles on the engine! Last owner had a coolant leak and blew the motor, it was replaced in Nov 2020. Oil changes every 3,000 miles.
    • Automatic 6-speed Transmission
    • BRAND NEW TRANSMISSION March 2022! Less than 5,000miles on it. The transmission was showing signs of age and hard shitfing last summer, I just decided to get a Dodge dealership to replace it before it created real mechanical and safety issues and so that the next owner can have the peace of mind of having a brand new transmission.
    • Front wheel Drive
    • Brand new All season/All Terrain tires (less than 200miles on them)
    • New rear parking/emergency brake system, both sides, Feb 2022
    • New catalytic converter Feb 2021
    • New front shocks July 2021
    • New front brakes July 2021 (will be sold with a set of new rear brake pads as well)
    • New high vis yellow fog lights May 2021
    • Timing belt serviced when engine got replaced, won't need service for another 80,000mi
    • Factory Backup cam that displays on entertainment’s center screen
    • Tow package
    • Cruise control
    • Heated, power fold and power adjust side mirrors
    • Connect 5” Bluetooth audio console
    • USB/jack Music input
    • Dashcam (power is hard wired and turns on/off with car) with 32gb card and secondary backup cam (records front and back at all times)
    • Dark tinted back and side windows (factory)
    • Aftermarket 3M 30% tint and UV block front doors (makes a HUGE difference in the summer and keeps the cab cooler) and does not impede night visibility)
    • Aftermarket 3M 5% tint and UV block windshield (close to no tint at all, helps with heat and makes it harder for passerbys to see inside the van
    • Two remote keys
    • Lockbox mounted under van to keep spare key accessible in case main key is lost/broken/locked inside.
    • There are a few dings here and there on the body and plastic fairings, nothing too bad considering it’s an adventure rig but enough for me to mention and I will show all blemishes that I know of.

    About the build:

    • 300W (3x100W) Renogy Solar Panels, mounted in parallel
    • GoalZero 1000 Lithium fully integrated battery system (Unit purchased in 2021)
      • DC12V output (with additional 12V regulator to get true 12V) and all 12V appliances go trough a fuse box.
      • 1500W inverter (3000W surge) with Two AC 110V outlets (four additional outlets are wired from there and mounted in kitchen and storage areas, each has two outlets and two USB)
      • Four USB ports
      • Additional car 12V charger can be plugged in to charge the battery while driving
      • This model has always been enough power and I never ran out. Being a standalone unit makes it simple to remove it from the van to power something else and avoids having to have an electrical panel with a lot of units and miles of wires! This unit will do anything you need just as well as a full renogy self built setup with much less problems!
    • Overhead LED lighting with dimmer
    • Maxxair Maxxfan Deluxe (full protection rain cover, 10 speeds, intake/exhaust, thermostat)
    • 1” foam insulation in walls, ceiling and doors with vapor barrier and 5mm plywood walls, makes it an all season rig
    • FatMat sound deadening
    • Full size 12" memory foam mattress, permanent bed, doesn’t require any setup to go to bed (some pictures show the mattress not in the van, I moved into a house for the winter and am using this bed, the van will be sold with the mattress!)
    • TONS of storage under bed, fits full suspension MTBs (have it setup for one, you could had several) and all your other toys. It also has a track under the bed to keep an additional crate off the floor and maximize storage (I liked to store seldom used gear/items there to keep them out of the way)
    • Door to access under bed storage (great to have tools accessible at all times.
    • Tons of cabinet and drawer storage in the living area, everything has a place where it lives and nothing has to float around
    • All drawers and cabinets have push open/push close latches to prevent unintentional opening
    • 12V/AC Chest Fridge/Freezer with removable wire baskets (Whynter FM-45G, 45 quarts, extremely efficient and quiet, it pulls only around 50W when the compressor is running)
    • Seating for two above fridge (seat folds up to open fridge), can seat 4 people comfortably in the van and more if using the bed!
    • Passenger swivel seat (heavy duty from sprinterswivel.com)
    • Pull out table from under bed
    • Full size kitchen area with butcher bloc. Drawers and cabinets for storage
    • Outdoor fold out table
    • Large stainless steel sink.
    • Very simple and compact water system, everything fits under the sink in the cabinet: Blue 7 gallon fresh water tank under sink, Whale gusher galley foot pump (overhaul kit provided just in case) to operate faucet…
    • …dual grey water system: either sink drains in 5 gallon grey water tank (ideal to be stealth or in town) or straight to the ground to avoid filling up a tank. This water system is extremely easy, leak proof and requires zero maintenance. It’s also a great system that avoids using too much water and a single 7g fresh water tank can last a long time.
    • 5lb Propane tank under sink to feed two burner coleman stove. Propane hose is long enough to connect on top of butcher bloc or on the outside fold out table
    • Secondary 5lb Propane tank for heater
    • Propex HS2000 propane heater mounted under kitchen cabinet with trap door for easy access. Vents on the driver side of van. Provides dry heat and can keep the interior as toasty as you want it! It has a thermostat mounted in the kitchen area.
    • Thetford Porta Potti 345 Cassette toilet (never used)
    • Vinyl floor (single large sheet, easy to clean and is not affected by temperature swings)
    • Double black out curtains to separate cab/living space with magnets to keep them together and still be able to go back and forth areas with the curtains drawn
    • All windows have custom made magnetic reflectix covers (in-side is lined with cool fabric to look better!). When all these are ON, you can have all lights on in the van and no one will know you’re inside, super stealth!
    • Ski/Broom storage behind driver side.
    • Bike mount under bed (20mm axle) with pedal and tool holder.

I have seen a lot of builds while traveling and while I might be biased because I built it, it is one of the most functional build I’ve seen on the size category (promaster/transit/sprinter) while being simple and very lightweight.
