Year: 2016
Mileage: 81500
I traveled in this van full time for 1 year and will add notes to each section to hopefully answer questions onlookers will have. Most questions can be answered by looking through the photos and tour video.
Solar System:
· 3000-watt inverter charger
· 4 Renogy 100-watt panels
· 3 140 Amp Hour AMD Batteries
· Shore Power hookup
· Alternator hookup (Batteries charge while the vehicle is running)
· Fuse box with everything labeled
· There are switches I installed to fully shut off the system, turn off the solar, and turn off the inverter charger if you ever need them.
I never once needed to use the Shore Power (Though it is great to have!). The solar power and alternator charging system keep the batteries at a healthy charge even with heavy electricity use.
Fridge: APICool 12V Fridge (48 quart)
Passenger Swivel Seat (The seat can be turned completely around for extra seating when stationary)
Shower: A sprayer is run inline with the fresh water tank out the back doors. This can be used to take showers, clean, etc. (Great water pressure, the sink sprayer inside the van has a water pressure regulator in the line and can be adjusted)
Fresh Water Tank: 33 gallon
Grey Water Tank: 10 gallon, installed under the sink with a key lock hatch door to easily drain it
Bed: The bed is made from a memory foam mattress and is extremely comfortable. It can sleep two comfortably. (I am 6’2 and just fit straight across)
Stove: Propane with 2 burners. (A carbon monoxide and propane alarm is installed in the van for safety as well) The propane lasted me about 6 months (per tank) cooking 1-3 times per day.
Toilet: Never used! Brand new toilet with instruction manual and all chemical packs included. The waste holding tank is 20L. (I bought this and just never needed it. It is included with the van if you want it!)
