The Kitchen has a modern vessel sink with a black matte pull-out faucet. The 58 quart fridge is stored in a pull-out cabinet for easy access. There is a custom built drawer for a 2 burner induction stove below the fridge drawer. There is plenty of pantry space as well as storage space for dishes, utensils, etc.
Our spacious seating area can quickly and easily be transformed into a RV queen size bed. We have a tutorial video to show you how easy it is. The mattress/ cushions are made of Lucid 5-inch memory foam. Under the bed is plenty of storage for bedding and hiking or outdoor gear. Apart from that storage space, the electrical set up is also stored under the bed.
Near the back doors of the van sits our Natures Head Composting Toilet. It is disguised as extra seating. We did this so when the toilet is not in use you can have an extra seat. We have a tutorial video on this as well to show you how it works. The faucet for the sink can turn outside the van and extend out allowing you to use it as a shower head. You can easily hang a curtain on the back doors giving you privacy to take a full shower.
Apart from the kitchen and bedroom storage there is additional space on the passenger side of the van. There is a 3 door dresser for you to store your clothing and shoes in. There is also a huge storage space underneath the desk to store any electronics or whatever you would like.
There is a 10 gallon fresh water tank in the cabinet under the sink. On the side of the sink you will find a switch for the water pump and a water fill. Whenever you are ready to fill the fresh water tank, you would fill it the same way you would fill a gas tank. There is a 10 gallon gray water tank stored underneath the van. In the above head cabinet over the sink you will find a control panel with a water gauge so you can check when the gray water tank is full, and a switch that will dump the gray water when you want to empty it. There are pictures displayed above of both of these areas.
We used all Renogy and Blue Sea Systems products in this build. The van is powered off of 200 ah of smart lithium batteries which are charged by 350 watts of solar. When you’re unable to charge the batteries via the solar panels, we have installed a 40 amp DC-DC charger which can be easily turned on and off via a switch next to the steering wheel for easy access. This will fully charge the batteries in about 3 hours of driving. There is a 2000 watt inverter with four 120 V outlets throughout the van. There are also eight fast charging USB outlets and two 12 V outlets. You can easily monitor your whole system on the battery monitor which is located next to the couch/ bed.
We know how important it is to live in a safe and healthy home. That is why we have chosen to use non-toxic and chemical free insulation. The van is insulated with 3M Thinsulate. We have also chosen to keep everything in the van solar powered, which means nothing (including cooking) is powered off of propane. We have also chosen to use zero VOC paint for the interior.
