Meet Marcy- my fine woodworking, 2010 Sprinter 3500 170 extended. 153,000 miles
This van started its life as bicycle carrier for Raleigh bikes and I bought it in 2020 from Liberty Bikes in Asheville. they kept a detailed maintenance record, and I inherited a solid van. the Chassis is rust free and the engine runs without issue. The van has new brakes, a new starter motor, and six tires with less than 10,000 miles.
My father outfit this van from an empty shell with residential quality hardware and materials. He is a 40 year veteran of the fine homebuilding, and cabinetry craft. We purchased van specific systems, and had a great deal of guidance from Vanlife Conversions in Marshall, NC.

The van is vapor barriered and has two inches of blue board insulation in the floor, walls, and ceiling.
$65,000 is not cheap- this price reflects material cost, build quality and the 900 hours of labor that went into construction. Some might scoff at a decade old van for this price, but I assure you it will be on the road for another decade or more. a more detailed catalog of photos can be provided upon request.
