Due to health reasons, I will no longer be able to drive, so I must sell my wonderful van conversion van.
The van is high mileage (198K), but I've had it dealer-serviced every 5,000 to 8,000 miles. Currently, it has new brakes front and rear, and a completely new transmission. I'll have its next 5,000 mile oil change done before I turn it over.
There are many custom touches. It has a Breville oven, quartz countertops, two-way Dometic refrigerator, a composting toilet, three-month old rooftop air conditioner with heat pump, 400 Watts of solar to charge four 6-Volt AGM batteries, two and three-way light switches, lots of storage, ten-gallon fresh and gray water tanks. There are both inside and outside tables. It is easy to maintain, and I'll even leave most of the accessories I have in it, including WiFi extender, outside mat and chair, butane heater, vacuum, dishes, awning, stove, pots and pans and small appliances. I've lived very comfortably in it for more than a year.
This is a very difficult thing, because I love this van and the lifestyle, but in a few months, my license will be gone. I will have to remove my bird and his cage, but my son, who did the conversion, will make the space into a closet.
The Transit is a 3.5L EcoBoost with medium roof and medium wheelbase. I average just under 18 mpg not towing.
