Unfortunately I need to sell my bada*s off-road conversion van! I've had a major change of heart and have realized that vanlife is not for me. I put an extraordinary amount of love, time, and care into not only finding the right van to begin with, but also in adding what I've done to her.
Message for more photos!
This van comes equipped with:
Oversized Off-Road Tires and Rims -- Tire Size 265-70R18 (32.6in)
Mounted LED Light Bar
Protective Coating all around
Aftermarket LED Headlights
Full Size Spare
There is no tire rubbing at all and the corners have been custom cut and patched. Miles will go up slightly. 5.3L v8
Mechanically she's in beautiful shape. This is a van that has been well maintained and cared for. It started as a fleet vehicle in Massachusetts and clearly has received regular maintenance. Multiple mechanics have told me the drivetrain is in great condition. She drives and shifts super smooth. You really appreciate how smooth she is when you're behind the wheel. Finding a well-maintained van was my number 1 priority when I was searching for one. These vans can run forever, she's got tons of life left.
As far as the interior and modifications, some of what you see in the pictures came with the van when I bought it. I pulled out the rubber mat floor that it came with and scrubbed her clean. I then patched the holes that someone had drilled into the floor, put a rust primer on everything, and put a brand new layer of paint on the floor. My goal was to rust proof this thing as much as possible. I covered everything I could with dynamat. I then installed XPS insulation and Plytanium plywood subfloor. I put Great Stuff Spray foam around the edges. I mold proofed the heck out of everything and then put 3 layers of flex seal as well. I did not want to take any chances on mold or rust. I then installed the vinyl flooring you see in the photos. During this time I put the white exterior stain on the wood inside the van.
There is no insulation behind the wooden planks. The van will come with 60 x 11 x 11 inches of Thinsulate if you decide you need that. I am not going to get into it on here, but some people believe it's pointless to insulate a van. If you plan on being in cold weather a lot, it would probably be worth it to get some insulation in. The floor is insulated as stated above.
Recently my mechanic has done the following, all within the last 3,000 miles:
New Spare Tire Winch
New Left Rear ABS Sensor
New Front Outer Tie Rod Ends
New Right Rear TPMS Sensor
New Alignment just done
New Right Side Passenger Mirror
There will be a Fresh Oil Change, fluid top off, and undercarriage inspection
Brand new Pioneer Head Unit with 7inch screen and backup camera
Model DMX7706S. Bluetooth, android, and apple carplay
Brand new window tint all the way around
New Seat Covers and Steering Wheel Cover
This van is ready to go wherever you want to take it and back. She is in incredible mechanical shape. Comes with tire fix kit as well as a power station with air compressor and jump start capabilities with outlets and usb ports.
Just a few days ago, the AC blower motor started to make a ticking noise. This only happens on the two highest settings. The AC still blows nice and cold, even on the highest setting. I would've jumped on this, but it's getting colder now and I haven't really needed the AC.
Chip in the windshield. Not a problem
Hole in driver's seat. Not a problem and never was, there is a seat cover on, you don't notice the hole with or without it
There is surface rust on the undercarriage. A previous owner put protective coating on everything underneath. She is due for another one soon, but is not in dire need.
The vans a little rough around the edges. She has the normal dings and scratches for a 2011. Manual windows. 1 key.
This van is not a mansion on wheels. This van won't impress your family with beautiful and innovative interior design secrets.
This van is a functional beast. It will get you where you need to go and it will do it well, while being one of the coolest vans around.
I used the highest quality materials I could find. I went overkill on everything. I didn't hold back, this was going to become my full time home. I have put tons of money, sweat, tears, but most importantly genuine love into this beautiful machine. She's just waiting for your personal touches to finish her up.
I am not hiding anything or even doing this for money. My life and plans have changed. I put my soul into this thing. I am too aware of karma and the harmony of nature to attempt to screw anyone over or even withhold information.
The price is set fair for today's market. For what this van lacks on the inside, it makes up for in off road capability and functionality without paying for a 4x4 converted van. Given the year, AWD, mechanical shape, and modifications the price is what it is.
She is ready to go to Alaska and back. As far as important things go, you do not need to put any money into this van. It's all about what you value in what you drive and what you're able to do yourself. Many of the hard things are taken care of. She comes with lots of love and divine energy. She just needs your creativity. Always feel free to make an offer. I have more pictures, a video and would gladly do a video call. Will deliver for right price.
Price is $24,300 obo
