2016 Mercedes Camper Van

If you want a van to create good memories in adventuring throughout the US or elsewhere, this may be the van for you. First though, let me clarify what’s not good about the van and whether or not we may be a good fit. Then, I’ll go over what’s awesome about it. “Issues”...
There is rust on the outside of the van. Oh no, rust. End of the world. If you’re looking for a van that is in perfect condition with no rust, then kindly please move on to the next listing. If you’re looking for a good van that will get you from point A to point B that still looks pretty cool on the inside and outside, then this may be for you. Plus, if the rust bothers you so much that’s something you could fix. Again up to you, but if you can’t look past it then kindly, please go elsewhere.

When driving uphill sometimes the van will go in limp mode. In other words it will slow down to 40 miles per hour. Once it reaches the top of the hill, it’s fine and reaches normal speeds. Further, this issue I’ve been told can be fixed by replacing the fuel valve which is about a $1500 piece, with the official report your welcome to review by Mercedes Benz.

Besides the above there may be some minor cosmetic issues but overall the van inside and out is in great shape and despite that issue above the fact is - this van has gotten me throughout Washington, Arizona, Idaho, Oregon, Wyoming, California, and Montana amongst other places.

You’re more than welcome to have a mechanic check it out before purchasing if you have any hesitation.

Now that we got that out of the way…

Here’s why this is a glorious van…

✔️It gets you from point A to point B no matter where that is, whether it’s Zion National Park or the Grand Canyon or Huntington Beach.

✔️You can sleep in it. It has a bed that’s pretty comfy.

✔️You can cook and eat in it. It has a stove, mini fridge, and sink.

✔️You can work in it. It has a WeBoost Satellite extender and a desk.

✔️You can store items in it. There’s good storage in the garage and main cabin area.

✔️If you want to renovate it to better fit you/your lifestyle, you’re of course welcome to as there are endless possibilities.

Asking price…
$35K. I know this van is worth well over $50k with the build. However, I understand the hesitancy one may have since it’s not in perfect condition. Plus, I want to sell it so I can move on to the next stage of my life, so that’s why I’m asking for $35K. And I don’t want to play games so I’ll say directly… if someone offers me less than $35K, I may consider it. Ideally though I do want to get at least $35K, but if you’re a serious buyer and want to offer something else, I may consider.

Why I’m selling the van… 

Because I’ve had my adventures. Despite the “issues”, it’s been an amazing experience full of beautiful memories. I’d rather get the cash to invest elsewhere and move on to the next step in my life. It’s time for someone else to enjoy this van and I may consider buying a van again years in the future when I want to explore van life again.
