Located in Albuquerque, NM. Would like to sell before I move to the east coast May 1- willing to negotiate price.
I bought this van (Fiona) in December 2019 and spent 9 months designing and building the interior. Moved in last summer and have been on the road since. She drives really well and fuel economy averages 25mpg (up to 32mpg if you're cruising at 55-60!) I love this van and I'm sad to sell her, but it's time for the next adventure.
The isolator ensures that your batteries are charged off the alternator as you drive, and you can monitor your batteries and solar panel input from your phone via Epever's bluetooth app. This system is on the small side because my power needs were minimal, but it can easily be added to. There's room for at least one more solar panel on the roof.
All operated off a fused switch panel, which also has an additional 12V aux outlet and two 2V USB ports for charging.
Also works great as a desk, sitting on the cooler :)
For cooking I used a standard Black Diamond propane camp stove, either outside on a small foldable table (included) or inside with the fan venting out.
The bed can be twin size (8” double- layer mattress) or pulled out to queen (4” single layer). The mattress is 2” firm-density foam topped with 2” memory foam. Super comfy and only takes a minute to expand from twin to queen size.
There's tons of storage under the bed: 3 big cubbies with adjustable shelves. I fit all of my clothes, shoes, kitchen stuff, and climbing gear with no issue. Across from the bed is more storage: 4 smaller cubbies, open storage above the wheel-well (great for stuffing extra blankets or a sleeping bag), and another cabinet on the end.
There is also long storage behind the bed over the wheel-well. I specifically designed it for skis, however the rear door does not currently open so it's not possible to access it from the outside. This storage space can still be easily accessed under the mattress, and I’ve used it for miscellaneous storage of all kinds of things.
After having a few issues on the road I've invested a lot in making sure everything is running well, and now Fiona's in top shape! Major repairs listed below; also happy to share my maintenance log and paperwork. My local Sprinter mechanic is amazing and knows my van well- I'm happy to take her in for a pre-purchase inspection and share the results with you.
