1997 Sportsmobile Class B camper van based on a Dodge B3500 with the powerful 5.9L V8 engine. Sportsmobile, renowned for rugged versatility camper van designs since 1961. This camper that has been thoughtfully upgraded, making it the perfect companion for your next adventure.

While this camper may have a sporadic check engine light on for a misfire in cylinder 7, rest assured it runs smoothly and has been reliable throughout the five years I've owned it. The minor issue does not affect its overall performance. You may need to "know a guy" to get her to pass inspection in CA although the check engine light is currently off.

recent essential maintenance, replacing the front brakes and bearings to ensure safety and stability on the road. About a year ago I also had the water pump, heater core, and starter.

A thorough tune-up included new plugs, spark plug wires, and distributor.

5. Transmission Replacement:

The previous owner had the transmission replaced at around 80k

Please Note:

This camper van is over 25 years old and, like any vintage vehicle, it comes with its own quirks and character.

The dash heater/AC is not functioning due to the need for a new Heater/AC Control Cable. It's a $75 part I haven't been able to find in stock.

The propane heater functioning intermittently despite having a brand-new electronics board ($500 installed). It is suspected that the issue may be related to the Starcool thermostat.
