All the hard work has been done in this 1996 International school bus that was converted for a mobile retail business. All seats have been removed and the braking system was completely replaced in 2016. Comes equipped with solar panels and is ready to continue life as a mobile business or get outfitted to be your fabulously retro RV or vintage "tiny house" on wheels.
International DT466 Turbodiesel Engine
5 speed manual transmission
Brand new brake system
The body and interior were painted with Modern Masters Metal Effects copper paint, and the bus was featured on the Modern Masters blog. You can read about the conversion process and the business that this wonderful vehicle housed here: https://modernmasterscafe.com/2017/03/16/metal-effects-traveling-retail-bus-exterior/. The "wood grain" siding was achieved with stain and a wood graining tool. The flooring was painted with a durable, high-traffic, decorative epoxy paint.
Full disclosure: After several Minnesota winters, the "wood grain" exterior effect is in need of repainting and the interior carpet runner either needs to be replaced or needs a good deep-cleaning. If you're interested in maintaining the current look of the bus, we're happy to point you in the right direction to refresh these. The solar system needs a new Solar Charge Controller (about $20 to replace).
Asking $9,999 or best offer.
