This is a 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 — 170" extended wheelbase, high roof, converted into something I can only really describe as a luxury apartment on wheels. It has a fully tiled stand-up shower. An Isotherm Cruise 130 — 130 L / 4.6 cu ft fridge and butcher block counters. A lounge that seats four and converts into an olympic queen bed. 800 watts of solar over a 460Ah lithium bank. And fifty gallons of fresh water paired with forty gallons of grey.
WHO THIS VAN IS FOR
This is a van for someone who is looking to go head-first into full-time vanlife and feel comfortable knowing they'll be able to sustain off-grid for weeks at a time, or someone looking for a luxury inconginito camper van to take to festivals, national parks, etc ensuring comfort and style. If you work remotely, if you want to disappear into a national forest for weeks, if you want a bathroom and a kitchen and a desk, this could be the van for you. Starlink is an excellent source of fast and reliable wifi. The 3000W Victron inverter and 460Ah bank will power everything you need to live comfortably on the road. There's hot water and a plug-in space heater that works well when needed, but the van is very well insulated and does well to retain heat in colder climates. This is an excellent 2WD four-season van.
WHY THIS VAN STANDS APART
I priced this against every comparable 170" Sprinter conversion I could find. Comparable builds are asking $110,000-$135,000. The biggest thing I kept coming back to was just how much usable, livable space this one gives you and how meticulous the records I've kept of everything I've done to it (both service and upgrades). A fully enclosed, tiled, stand-up shower with a composting toilet. A real lounge that becomes an Olympic queen bed, not a fixed platform you climb onto every night (This is great because it's not a lot of work to setup and take down and it gives you a TON more liveable space during the day). A real off-grid electrical system with full Victron monitoring and three charging sources: solar, alternator, and 30-amp shore power. In strong sun, the solar regularly brings in 500 to 600 watts in the real world. While driving, the alternator charging typically adds another 550 to 600 watts. The result is a van that is not just pretty, but genuinely practical to live in. The lounge layout is a huge part of why I bought into this build. It gives you a place to work, eat, relax, and host, then converts into a very comfortable and surprisingly large bed. For reference, I am 6 feet 3, my girlfriend is 6 feet, and we comfortably fit with our 70-pound golden retriever and 15-pound terrier mix.

SERVICE AND DOCUMENTATION
There's no builder's badge on this van. No shop name to borrow credibility from. What there is instead is every single receipt — 29 invoices, digitized, dated, and organized — plus a maintenance log I kept because I wanted to take the best care of this van that I possibly could. I also logged every time I filled up on diesel. Serviced on Mercedes intervals the whole time I've owned it. Oil every 5,000-8,000 miles. When a check engine light came on, I checked it myself, took it to a certified repair shop, and kept the paperwork for your benefit to review. The complete file goes to the buyer at closing, and serious buyers can request it before making an offer.
THE HONEST SECTION
Most listings hide this. I'd rather you knew before messaging. Known items, already subtracted from my price:
Tires: original from purchase, usable tread but not new (~$800)
Minor exterior dents, scuffs, painted-over marks (~$400)
Contingency (~$500)
There are also quirks, which are different from defects. The battery box runs warm under heavy load on hotter-than-normal days and needs ten minutes of venting. The butcher block countertops are worn and need sanding and re-finishing. I've written all of them down. Nothing here is a surprise. Two years of living in it — the Smokey Mountains, Maine Coast, Tetons, Sedona, Telluride, the Pacific Coast, the Gulf. It's been my home and my office. Everything in it works because everything in it has had to work, every day while I lived and traveled in it.
DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT
I documented this van the entire time I lived in it — walkthroughs, systems explainers, how-tos, repairs, ordinary days. All of it posted long before I ever considered selling. SEEING IT / DELIVERY
I'm showing the van in California through the end of September, starting at the beginning of August, then driving it back to Florida. If you're anywhere along that route — or anywhere in the continental US, for the right buyer — I am happy to deliver it after you've done as much due diligence virtually. Serious inquiries welcome. Happy to answer anything.
